Violeta Castellano (Editor and Designer)

Hello! I am Violeta Castellano, editor and designer of Digital Us. I am in charge of the design of the website and in the edition together with my colleague Carla, so that this website is a place where you can find relevant information, curiosities and you feel like your trusted means of communication but with digital information. We will be uploading things of interest frequently, so through social networks or subscribing to the website you can be aware of every news that happens in the online world and not miss relevant information.

This project seems to me a very good way to maintain a first contact with the operation of a page and with how we should coordinate with each other. Technology is increasingly present in our lives and we, addressing a young audience, want them to conceive it as a place where they can acquire reliable information on any topic relevant to them. The problem that could arise would perhaps be the fact of coordinating everything on time and linking the work of one with that of the other since we do not have a common space to work and we communicate through the telephone, but it will never be a problem that we cannot solve between all. Although each one has a role in this project, we can always help each other to make the final result excellent, since we all excel in different things and that enriches us as a group. In my point of view, creativity and the way in which information reaches the public is very important that is why I will dedicate all my efforts to make this project incredible and together we can learn so that it serves us as learning in our future as journalists.

My personal side and its impact in the group

I am a huge fan of reading, I also really like writing and I think this is a great way to show all our skills. Cinema is also one of my passions, especially the classics. I also dedicate a large part of my day to social networks, especially Twitter and Instagram, where I take inspiration from many things that I like. I consider myself a creative person, so I wanted to dedicate myself to the design part of the project because I consider that I can contribute different approaches, I also love working as a team and I think that work like this enriches us a lot when it comes to the final result. I have chosen this image of the sea because the sea is my place of peace to be in vacation and where I get more inspiration.
