Actualizado: 13 abr 2021

A little introduction through the corporation history

The British Broadcasting Corporation, more commonly known as BBC, is the public service of radio and television of the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1922 and to this day it continues to maintain its prestige. Its headquarters is located in the city of London. This corporation is guaranteed its independence from both political and commercial controls and also broadcasts for the entire United Kingdom as a whole.

Digitalization, adapting to innovation

This corporation has been acquiring great levels of prestige thanks to its determination when it comes to reporting, telling the truth and working hard to get to the bottom of the matter in order to guarantee the trust of viewers. As the years go by, the way of consuming this information has grown in such a way that digital platforms are a very common way of keeping up to date. This is the case of the BBC Europe website where we can find out about the different events that take place on this continent. Thus, public figures such as Paul Kirby have become essential for the proper functioning of these platforms.

Paul Kirby, Europe publisher BBC News online, is responsible for ensuring that this platform selects the most important and that only the imprescindle is transmitted to consumers. His techniques and objectives can be seen in the following posts from my colleagues since we have had the pleasure of talking with him and understanding his methods to achieve objectivity.
